Artisan Bio

I began building southern style flintlock rifles around 1988. Most of my work is iron mounted with my own hand forged mounts. All guns are aged and have a fine patina and are built to use. The more you use them the better they will look! I have tried to learn something from all of the great gun makers that I have been able to meet. But I have been greatly influenced by Herschel and Frank House. They have been more help than they will ever know. I am currently building part time, about three guns per year.
