If you know of a deceased artist or non-member artist, please send a profile and up to 4 photographs (digital or hard copy) by email or mail to the office so that we may create a listing for that individual.

Artisan Bio | Kevin Carter is a foodways historian by profession. He conducted research and managed the foodways programs at Conner Prairie Museum (Fishers, Indiana) and Sauder Village Museum (Archbold, Ohio). He was also the founding producer and director of the popular Townsends YouTube channel. In addition to being a storyteller, public/conference speaker, historical researcher and interpreter, and award-winning author, his vocational and avocational experience includes making reproduction historical pottery and leather goods, as well as contemporary silversmithing. He now occupies his time making reproduction powder horns and accoutrements. Kevin is a life-long student who needs to learn and loves to share. He has an undergraduate degree in education and a Masters in Business Administration. |
