Steve Auvenshine, born in 1961, growing up in Lexington, Kentucky, began building knives in 1992 on a part-time basis. He was an apprentice to Frank House. His work includes Neck knives, Pouch knives, Rifleman's knives and completely hand-made barlow style folders.
and his trademark is an "A" in script.
