Artisan Bio

Contemporary flintlock rifle and pistol gunsmith practicing in Tucson Arizona under the direction of Ken Shelton, master rifle builder.
Current projects include custom rifles builds focusing on the period of the later Colonial to early 1880's. I specialize in using Tiger Stripe
maple, dual triggers, patch boxes, and stock carving. To display rifles I build dual rifle stands out of Walnut or Mahogany which are also
for sale. It takes 200 hours to make a rifle( 3 months) and 100 for a pistol. I have attended the Safari Trade Show in Las Vegas in 2016 and
will again in 2018 to display and promote my vocation.
