Artisan Bio

Gary Brown
I am 69 years old and have been making bags and horns for over 35 years. I live with my wife Jean in Columbus, Indiana. Along with shooting flintlocks I also shoot traditional archery and make and sell custom douglas fir tapered arrows.
All of my bags are made from "vegetable" tanned leather and are hand stiched with linen thread. My prices are usually lower as I am retired and making bags is a labor of love, not a job. All of my bags and horns are made to be used and will last for many years.
