I began blacksmithing in 1995 under the direction and supervision of Frank, John and Hershel House; as well as Cousin Willie. I have studied under Hershel, John and Frank House for 4 to 5 years of my tenure. I am also a graduate of the Appalachian Blacksmith’s Associations blacksmith program, where I am also a member. I am the blacksmith at the Museum of Appalachia in Clinton, Tn, an affiliate of The Smithsonian Institute.
