Flintlock Rifles and Pistols, Accoutrements, some cartridge guns of my own design. Antique arms restoration. US Navy history "age of fighting sail"
As a teenager, while working in the shop of former NMLRA president, Morris Van Way, assisted in the construction of the NMLRA covered firing line and initial commercial row booths including various jobs during shoots. Navy enlistment included selection to the US Navy Rifle Team. Returning from the Navy, started making flintlock rifles while spending most of the Friendship experience at the Primitive area. Struck the attendance medallions for the 73 Chadron Muzzle Loading Rendezvous. Utilizing my career experience, the Navy, then as a Machinist, Toolmaker and Manufacturing Engineer, improved my abilities, making many of my own tools, understanding heat treatment, wood working, carving and engraving). Future fabrication of rifles and associated historical items, evolved into restoring arms for a number of nationally known antique dealers.
Having followed this vocation for a great number of years, it is my honor and privilege, now, to be listed here, with the artisans in this trade.
