| Artisan Bio | Elizabeth Gaul, a native of SE Pennsylvania currently residing in Cincinnati Ohio, is a self-taught artist whose specialties include: Folk Art Woodcarvings Pennsylvania-German Fraktur & Scherenschnitte "Fancy" decorative painting and gilding for furniture, objets d'art and interiors Her work is inspired and informed by the artistry and craftsmanship of 18th and 19th century American examples, with a particular emphasis on traditional art forms of rural Pennsylvania.
