Here we have a very nice Short Land Pattern Brown Bess. I believe it was made by Chesapeake Manufacturing. Very well done using The Rifle Shoppe parts. Looks unfired. Comes ready for reenactment. The U.STATES brand is the correct size and font! 42″ clean barrel. A really outstanding musket!
Current Rifle shoppe price is $1500 for a parts kit. You will wait a year or so for all the parts. Then you have to finish/assemble it. If you don’t have the stamps, that’s another $100. The brand?? good luck. How many have you seen?
