Product Description

1776 Lancaster school Kentucky flintlock rifle with a .54 cal 36 inch long browned barrel. This classic rifle has a Siler bronze lock and a double set Davis trigger for accurate shooting. The thimbles, trigger guard, patch box, butt plate, engraved side plate and toe plate are all brass. A relief oak leaf is hand carved, no Dremel, and is the main embellishment with a grape vine motif on the fore stock. The tiger stripe curly maple stock is finished with Tung Oil for excellent color depth and wear resistance. Attention to detail went into fitting the all the brass pieces. The patch box is hand engraved. This rifle has not been fired or sighted in.
