Way back in the day there was a company called Old Glory Gun Works. They produced a very small amount of replicas of the 1837 Elgin Cutlass Pistol, both factory finished and kits. The originals were issued to US Naval personnel. This is a good reproduction of that pistol. They are scarce as hens teeth!
The barrel is 5″ long, smooth bore and the ID. is approximately .530. The blade is 10 1/2″ long. I assembled this years ago from a kit and have never fired it. It has served me well as a discussion piece on my gunshow table for years. It’s the only one I have ever seen. I’m starting to down size my endeavors and now I’m looking for good homes for my “kids”. $450.00 + Priority Mail.
