This fine pair of English officer’s pistols dates to c.1800-1810. The octagon, brass barrels are 7 11/16″, .57 bore, and marked with Tower proofs as well as a crown over “R” touch mark. Walnut stocks are branded “B.SANDERS” on the left side, engraved brass trigger guards, brass ramrod pipes, and stepped tail locks marked “J&W/Richards” Original, horn tipped rammers with iron worms. Original flintlock condition, mechanically very good.
