This is a pretty cool rifle that looks awesome just the way it is, in my opinion. Choate made some rifles that have been described as sharpshooters and others with multiple barrels. It is extremely well-built, including engraved screw heads. Precision underhammer mechanism is integral with the trigger guard. Very nice tang site is a little crusty as is the barrel, inside and out. Slice in the butt stock is stable, broken ramrod.
