Here’s a fairly early Jacob Hoak rifle with a very nice script signature. Quite likely a period restock that was heavily used and repaired at the wrist. His beautifully engraved patchbox, 47″ barrel (63″ overall), and more. Probably not the original trigger guard. Some cracks and missing wood on forestock, repair at the toe.
