My Dad restored this rifle over a decade ago and sold it to a good friend. We are now selling it for that friend’s widow. Dad bought the original buttstock, signed (initials) barrel, and trigger guard at the Princeton show maybe 12 or more years ago. I thought he bought it from Louie Parker, but Dad thinks it may have been someone else at that show. Lock, sideplate, triggers, and forestock replaced (from the wrist to the muzzle). D * C is a scarce maker and I believe it refers to David Conley. 41″ barrel is over an inch across; rifle weighs almost 11 lbs.
