This is another incredibly unique, completely handmade and handsewn with pure waxed linen thread, heavy cotton 18th Century ticking bag. This bag is made from aged heavy cotton ticking. The straps and flap are both made from 3-4oz veg tanned cowhide. The bag measures 8 1/4 inches wide at the middle and 11 inches from top to bottom when closed. The buckle strap measures 15 1/4 inches long, 1 1/4 inches wide, and features an aged solid brass buckle. The long strap measures 52 inches long, 1 1/4 inches wide, and features 8 holes for adjustment. The bag features include, a handmade aged iron button and an aged brass buckle. This is the type of bag that would have been made when leather was hard to come by or very expensive. I have given the bag a look of age and use.
Everything has been done completely by hand. It has been cut, sewn with waxed linen thread, dyed, and finished by hand, no machines or assembly line methods used at all just to save time.
