This is a one of a kind, completely handmade and handsewn with waxed linen thread, leather folk art accoutrement pouch. This pouch is made from 3-4oz veg tanned cowhide. The pouch measures 5 3/4 inches wide and 3 1/4 inches from top to bottom when closed. The bone button has been aged. The hand carved folk art designs are based on common 18th Century designs seen on powder horns, furniture, and other handmade items of the period. I gave this pouch an aged look, a brown stain, and finished it with a period correct oil/beeswax finish.
Everything has been done completely by hand. It has been cut, sewn with waxed linen thread, dyed, and finished by hand, no machines or assembly line methods used at all just to save time.
