This is another incredibly unique, completely handmade and handsewn with waxed pure linen thread, leather hunting/shooting bag. This bag is made from 3-4oz veg tanned cowhide. The straps are made from 4-5oz veg tanned cowhide. The bag measures approximately 9 1/2 inches wide at the middle and 9 3/4 inches from top to bottom when closed. The two buckle straps measure 8 inches long each, 1 1/4 inches wide, and feature aged solid brass buckles. The long strap measures 51 inches long, 1 1/4 inches wide, and features 8 holes for adjustment on each side. The long strap is made from leather and aged hemp webbing. The bag features include, a full welt, an inside pocket, a bound main pocket edge, a handmade buckle strap closure, and an aged look. The brown color was achieved using a combination of several colors of leather stain. Every color was layered onto one another to achieve the look of age. I used a period correct oil and beeswax finish.
Everything has been done completely by hand. It has been cut, sewn with waxed linen thread, dyed, and finished by hand, no machines or assembly line methods used at all just to save time.
