Here a nice vegetable tanned calfskin foraging bag I just completed. It is stained a deep, rich mahogany and is lined with a stained ticking. The flap is leather lined. It measures 12″ deep X 12 1/2″ wide measured from the center of the bag. There is a 2″ gusset and an added leather flange between seams for durability. It is completely hand stitched with brown linen thread. It has a solid brass buckle closure and dual brass buckles on the straps. I have treated it with Fiebings Aussie Leather Conditioner as I do all of my bags.
