Haversack with Veg Tanned Flap and Folk Art motif
A new haversack style/forage bag I handmade, “inspired” by the late 18th and early 19th century hunting accoutrements. The bag is made from a blue checked fabric dyed in walnut hulls, and fully lined with an interior pocket. All hand-stitching done with natural linen and hemp beeswaxed thread. The flap is veg tanned leather with a hand painted floral Folk Art motif.
The bag measures 8×10 with a 56” jute strap with red stripes…dyed in walnut hulls.
This would make a wonderful addition for anyone into Muzzleloading…hunting…reenacting…or as a beautiful wall hanging decor.
