Haversack with Rustic Bark Tanned Deer Flap and Green Striped Fabric
Here is a new haversack style/forage bag I handmade, “inspired” by the late 18th and early 19th century hunting accoutrements. My bags are a combination of both traditional and contemporary designs. The bag is made from a walnut dyed green striped fabric and fully lined with an interior pocket. The patch is just to make it look aged. It’s not turn. All hand-stitching done with natural linen and hemp beeswaxed thread.
The bag measures 10×12 1/2 and a 56” walnut hull dyed woven jute strap.
This would make a wonderful addition for anyone into Muzzleloading…hunting…reenacting…or as a beautiful art wall hanging decor.
Please note these are durable bags and the flap artwork is permanent. They are strong enough to carry your personal items in the field.
