Southern Appalachian Inspired Bag with Antique Horn

This bag and horn set was made by Cory Joe Stewart of North Carolina. This bag and horn set is inspired by an original from the Southern Appalachian Region. The bag is cowhide, laced with hand cut barktanned deerhide lace. The bag is 7 1/2 inches deep by 7 inches wide. The strap is 50 inches with a buckle.
The horn is an antique horn that is 12 inches long. The horn has been repaired for use. I had to repair some of the base and a crack in the horn is covered with deerskin rawhide. The horn has also been sealed with beeswax.
A truly unique piece with a lot of character.
