This is another very unique, one of a kind, completely handmade and handsewn leather black powder hunting/shooting bag. The bag is made from 3-4oz veg tanned cowhide. The straps are made from 4-5oz veg tanned cowhide for added strength. The bag measures 9 1/2 inches wide and 9 inches from top to bottom. The buckle strap measures 12 inches long, 1 1/4 inches wide, and features an aged brass buckle. The long strap measures 48 inches long, 1 1/4 inches wide as well, and features 6 holes for adjustment.
The bag features include, a full welt, an inside pocket, an aged pewter button, and a scalloped edge on the top of the flap.
I have given the bag a period correct oil, beeswax, and lamp black finish.
Everything has been done completely by hand. It has been cut, sewn with waxed linen thread, dyed, and finished by hand, no machines or assembly line methods used at all.
