Product Description

This is another, completely handmade and handsewn, leather shooting bag. This design is based on the 18th century cartridge box used during the Revolutionary War. The bag is made from 3-4oz veg tanned cowhide and the straps are made from 4-5oz veg tanned cowhide. The bag measures 9 1/4 inches wide and 6 3/4 inches from top to bottom and has been sewn around the outside edge. The buckle strap measures 11 inches long, 1 3/16 inches wide, and features an aged brass buckle. The long strap measures 52 inches long, 1 3/16 inches wide, and features 7 holes for adjustment.

The bag features include, vintage ticking lining the flap, an aged pewter button, bound pocket edges, and a divided pocket interior.

The bag has been finished with a period correct oil/beeswax finish.

As always, everything has been done completely by hand. It has been sewn with waxed linen thread, cut, dyed, and finished by hand, no machines or assembly line methods used at all just to save time.
