This shooting bag is based on an original dating from the 18th century. This bag is completely handmade and handsewn. The bag is made from 3-4oz veg tanned leather. The straps are made from 5-6oz veg tanned leather. I have given the bag a period correct stain(vinegaroon) and finished it with oil, beeswax, and lamp black. The bag measures 9 1/2 inches wide and 6 1/2 inches from top to bottom. The buckle strap measures 14 inches long, varies from 1 3/4 inches to 1 1/4 inches wide, and features a handmade steel buckle. The long strap measures 48 inches long, varies from 1 3/4 inches to 1 1/4 inches wide as well, and features 7 holes for adjustment. The bag features a large inside pocket and a handmade aged brass button.
Everything has been done completely by hand. It has been cut, sewn with waxed linen thread, dyed, and finished by hand, no machines used at all.
