This rifle was hand assembled “In The White” by Shane, and given a little extra attention to detail with some fancy filework on the sideplate, and a hand coned muzzle for ease of loading. It was then finished by a local customer who traditionally stained the stock with Aqua Fortis and finished the rifle with a hand rubbed oil finish.
He reports that it has an extremely fast ignition, and that it shoots excellent with a .440 round ball, 65 grains of 2F powder, and a .015″ patch.
