This is a nicely done Edward Marshall rifle, built by Joseph Scorsone from a Chambers Christian Springs kit. It is stocked in a nice piece of curly Maple with brass mounts and a sliding wood patchbox. The earliness of the Edward Martial rifle (1760’s) makes it a great French and Indian War era gun for reenactors, and carries well in the woods with it’s shorter 37″ tapered and flared barrel. This rifle is in New condition, and remains unfired.
Trigger Pull: 13 3/4″
Weight in 58 cal: 8 1/2 lbs.
Lock: Early Germanic
