English Half Stock Style Rifle by Phil Parsons in .54 caliber

This is a nice English style half stock gun made by Phil Parsons. This gun is stocked in a very nice piece of flame or crotch walnut. Shows best on the left side. The barrel is 30″ long, straight sided 1″ across the flats in .54 caliber. Not sure of the barrel maker but probably a Douglas barrel. The lock is by L&R. The mounts are steel with a cast pewter nosecap. It has set triggers and will fire set or unset. This gun has some handling marks and minor chips in the wood as well as wear to the browned metal finish in places as it has been used to hunt and target shoot by the current owner. Overall a very nice handling gun with a very solid feel. Weight is 7 lbs. 6 ozs. Pull is 13½”.
