Product Description

Custom made 45 caliber flintlock poor boy style ‘Circa 1970’s by famous rifle maker William Buchele. 38″x 13/16 straight octagon barrel by Douglas Barrels with a hand fashioned lollypop type long tang, barley corn front sight and mountain rear sight. Bore is excellent and shines like new.
The lock is not marked, however it looks like a period correct Ashmore style lock. 14 1/4″ LOP, 54 1/4 total length.
All the furniture is hand forged iron. The walnut stock is hand carved from a plank of English walnut.
This is when gun builders really knew how to build long, slim, graceful rifles from scratch. At only 6 lbs., 14 oz., you hardly know youre carrying a rifle around. The balance is excellent.
Here’s you change to own a true masterpiece, for your consideration at much less than it’s worth at $1995.
