This is my take on a Colonial built Jeager rifle. Stocked In curly maple with a hand forge butt plate. It carries a 34 1/4 inch Douglas .62 caliber rifle barrel. 50 inches overall length. Has a Davis Germanic lock with 14 inch length of pull. Rifle sits at 9lbs. I built this rifle from plans of an original gun. Sliding patchbox is made from cow horn as well as the nose cap and ramrod tip. This rifle i built after i was accepted onto the New Artisans Table at the 2019 show. It was also spot lighted im the American Traditions magazine.
