Fifty eight caliber wood box rifle by John Bivins. Barrel length is 42 inches, length of pull 14 inches. Weight is 9lb. 5 oz.. The rifle is unfired, beautifully constructed and highly finished. There are small safe storage marks. In overall excellent condition with a perfect bore. Small accent of wire inlay. Top of comb is faceted. Lock plate and frizzen are case hardened. Carving and engraving complete the rifle to create a very appealing visual impression..
