Left Hand Custom Fowler 42″ barrel in 20 gauge by Robert Alphin

Product Description

This is a nice fowler made by Robert Alphin of Dunn, N.C. It is very lightly used but appears like new with an excellent bore. The stock is curly maple with a light stain which brings out the figure. There is a small chip out by the middle barrel pin. The barrel is 42″ long oct-round in 20 gauge by Colerain and has a touch hole liner. The lock is a large Siler flintlock. The barrel and other iron parts are deeply browned. The gun comes with 40 round balls, cleaning attachments, extra flints and the wads pictured. I also have 24+ pounds of #9 shot. The extras will need to be shipped separately. The gun holds and points very well and should be a good shooter for hunting. Weight 7 lbs. Pull is 14¼”
