Vintage 45 caliber Vincent rifle by Leonard Meadows. Built in 1964 with a Bob Roller lock. No barrel maker’s mark on the barrel. Has some handling marks from normal use. Hammer looks to have been repaired. Curly maple stock. Barrel measures 1″ x 35″. Length of trigger pull to the double set triggers is 13″. Sterling silver inlay on the cheek piece. Poured pewter nose cap. A very fine rifle by one of the pioneers of the modern muzzleloader era.
Leonard was one of the original five members of the Mountaineer Flintlock Rifle Club with Wallace Gussler and Hacker Martin.
