This is a very unique, completely handmade and handsewn, leather Mountain Man possibles bag. The bag is made from 3-4oz veg tanned cowhide. The straps are made from 4-5oz veg tanned cowhide. The bag measures 9 1/4 inches wide and 10 inches from top to bottom. The buckle strap measures 11 inches long, 1 1/4 inches wide, and features a handmade steel buckle. The long strap measures 49 inches long, 1 1/4 inches wide as well, and features 6 holes for adjustment. The bag features include, a horn button, a fringed welt, a cotton canvas lined pocket edge, and a period correct oil, beeswax, and lamp black finish.
Everything has been done completely by hand. It has been cut, sewn with waxed linen thread, dyed, and finished by hand, no machines or assembly line methods used at all.
