These blocks were inspired from the sun & moon scrimshawed on the 1750 Henrych Fielger powder horn shown and described in the Engraved Powder Horn book by Jim Dresslar. While alike, they are all just a little different as I sketched, scrimshawed and stained each one by hand. They are scrimshawed on synthetic ivory that has a bone texture. The wood is white ash. The attachments are forged from steel wire.
