Buffalo horn powder horn. 11 3/4″ along outside curve (NOT including spout plug). base is 3 1/8″ in diameter. base plug and spout plug are painted old Spanish red. base plug is old pine board, held by 6 reworked nails. strap staple is rectangular stock. spout plug is tapered to match tapered hole in horn spout. scraped finish. thong on spout plug is braintan antelope hide. so very slight double curve so it can be worn either side. $65.00 plus priority shipping.
