Here is a left side carry, folk art powderhorn with a double brass buckled leather & canvas strap. The horn measures 12 3/4″ on the outside curve. It is scrimshawed with a flying Sandhill Crane, a walking SandHill Crane, “1759”, a French Cross, a smiling sun and borders around the base and neck. I have added two aged copper cones to the stopper and have stained and aged this horn to a nice patina.
