This horn was made by Cory Joe Stewart of NC. This powder is made in the style of Scottish Powder Horns of the 1600s-1700s. The horn is 12 inches long. The strap is about 50 inches with a brass buckle cast from an original.
The horn is decorated by taking inspiration from originals but is not an exact copy of any particular one. The tip is poured pewter which was a common feature on Scottish horns of the time period.
The qoute Sike Me Within Yeil Pouder is from an original in James Drummonds Ancient Scottish Weapons published in 1881.
There is a blank spot on the bottom of the horn where I will engrave your name at no extra charge.
