I can’t help it. I like to be organized. When I reach into my pouch for my next shot, I want to find that stuff without digging around and through other items. When I need a tool or want to change a flint, those items need to be separate and handy. Tool wallets are documented, but I have tweaked and improved the design for my needs .
This is my signature flint/tool wallet. What makes it stand out and be so practical are the following:
-one pocket also has sections for flints
-another pocket is oriented in another direction and also has divided sections on the front for taller tools
-measures 3” x 4 1/2” to fit in the palm of your hand
– wrap around wang closure so you can fill it up to be thick, and open and close without fumbling
-flaps and folds strategically placed so your items stay secured
Stitched with fine linen thread with traditional backstitching ( 10 to an inch)
Each is a bit unique:
SOLD ** A bark tanned deer leather
B oil tanned deer leather
C scalloped edges, goat leather
D fawn deer leather
SOLD** E red tooled goat leather with vinegarooned divider
F plain edges, goat leather
Useful for hunting, target shooting, and woodswalking.

Both Jeff and Shelly are reenactors who began by creating items for themselves. They attend many living history events a year. In their free time they piddle around their farm where they make wines, ales, and fill their pantry with home-canned items. They can be found hunting, trapping , and fishing. Sometimes, they incorporate their trophies in their custom work.
