Reproduction glass trade beads handmade by Copperrein of Iron Tree Forge. Using traditional European glass from Germany and Italy and in the same patterns as seen in archeology, each bead is passed through the flame of the lamp and “blown” in the exact same technique as was originally used to make the trade beads during the American Fur Trade period. Collectors of historical trade beads will recognize the popular skunk eyes, dog feet, white hearts, and feather patterns to name a few. Each hank is hand selected either as a themed set or as an assortment of historical styles as was common seen on the frontier.
