This drawstring pouch is completely handmade and handsewn with waxed, pure linen thread. The pouch is made from two pieces of 3-4oz vegetable tanned leather. The pouch measures 3 3/4 inches wide at the top and 5 1/4 inches from top to bottom. I have given it a dark brown, almost black stain, an aged look, and a period correct oil and beeswax finish.
Everything has been done completely by hand. It has been cut, sewn with waxed linen thread, dyed, and finished by hand, no machines used at all just to save time.
