This is a replica of the very first knife I ever made 12 years ago and when I got done with it I knew I wanted to do a very authentic looking sheath with turtle claws incorporated into it, very happy with the way it turned out. I’ll never forget this build! EVER!
INFO: Knife is 11” OAL. Steel is 8670 high carbon, handle is deer leg, solid copper bolster. The sheath is veg tan base wrapped in natural buckskin, fringe is buckskin, lace is artificial sinew and the claws on front and back are from a turtle.
