Here is a very nice, aged calfskin shotbag that I have stained a deep, rich mahogany. Measuring across the middle of the bag, it is 10 1/2″ deep X 11 1/2″ wide. It has a full gusset with a leather flange between all seams for durability. I have added a French cross to the leather lined flap. The rest of the bag is lined with a heavily stained ticking. The bag is completely hand stitched with brown linen thread. It has two solid brass buckles for even adjustability on the shoulder. I have treated the bag with Fiebings Aussie Leather Conditioner which is a product I have used for many years.

This musket and accoutrement set was built by Cory Joe Stewart of NC.
It is a Jim Chamber’s Flintlocks New England Fowler Musket in 12 Gauge. The carving pattern on the musket was inspired by an original musket featured in George C. Neuman’s Battle Weapons of the American Revolution. Here are the particulars

Total length: 62 inches
Trigger pull: 14 inches
Barrel is a Rice Octagon to Round smooth bore 12 Gauge
There is a White Lightening Touch Hole Liner installed
The Lock is a Chamber’s Round Faced English Lock
My fish scale says it weights a little over 8 pounds
Along with this musket I had Nathan Allen make a plug bayonet. The bayonet was inspired by one in George C. Neuman’s Battle Weapons of the American Revolution. The bayonet has a single cutting edge so it is not a dagger. I made the scabbard also based on an original and Shayna Matthews wove the Liberty or Death Strap.

This will make a bold statement at your next morning militia roll call.
There is a repair just under the side plate in the wood that is visible, but repaired and is not a structural issue.
I am asking $2900.00 and that is for everything. I do not want to spit the set up. Price includes shipping, I ship in wooden boxes. Paypal, checks or money orders all work fine.

Let me know if you have any questions or would like to see other pictures.

This beautiful vintage set of 18th Century style cooking utensils was hand forged by Colonial Williamsburg blacksmith Bob Rowe. Bob worked in the Deane Forge at Colonial Williamsburg in the 1970’s and the 1980’s. This set was assembled in the mid 1980’s with each piece being signed and dated, bearing its date of production as well as the Williamsburg stamp “WMSBG” and Bobs personal stamp “BR”. Each of these pieces retain a wonderful natural patina, and they stand as a great example of 18th Century period workmanship. Quite a unique and rare opportunity to own a set of ironware from that period in Colonial Williamsburgs history.
