Nicely crafted Longrifle by W.L. McNeese, marked Feb 22, 1990 No 29. Highly figured and well finished stock, it also incorporates a brass box with decorative engraving. A thumb piece, and Hunters Star also adorn this piece, both nicely engraved. The barrel is a Getz, .50 caliber, and measures 42”. The Length of Pull on this piece is 14”. The rifle also has well executed raised wood carving around the tang, behind the cheek piece, and the left wrist. It also has carved lock and side plate panels with beaver tails. This gun utilizes a pinned trigger, and large Siler lock.
This rifle is in excellent condition has obviously been well cared for.
