Possum Bag and Horn Set

Product Description

This bag and horn set was made by Cory Joe Stewart of NC. The bag is made from a bark tanned possum hide, it is lined with heavy fabric. The bag is 9 inches deep by 7 inches wide. The strap is a blend of heavy canvas and a repurposed hold belt. The strap is 54 inches long, and is adjustable by an old barn find buckle.
The horn is 12 inches long including the stoppers. The repair on the horn is real, the horn cracked when I was shaping it. The crack is secured by the base plug, the brass staples are decorative.
Included with the set is an antique antler handled hoof knife to serve as a patch knife. I ground the little hook part off.
