• The CLA Scholarship Program is managed by a Scholarship Committee that is appointed by the CLA President. The committee operates following adopted Scholarship Program Guidelines with oversight by CLA BOD and support from the CLA Administrative Staff.
  • Our mission is to award available scholarships to inspiring artists that meet the criteria defined in the Scholarship Program Guidelines.
  • Fund the CLA Scholarship Program
  • Inform workshops and individuals about the CLA Scholarship Program.
  • Award grants to inspiring artist.
  • Provide scholarships to individuals that demonstrates financial need to fulfill an educational opportunity to create art related to the longrifle culture.

To apply you must:

  • Be at least 16 years of age.
  • Have a CLA member sponsor you.
  • Complete the application (click on Application Button named “Apply for CLA Scholarship Program Now” for on-line application or call 540-886-6189 to have an application mailed to you.)
  • Submit application on-line or mail to CLA, PO Box 2247, Staunton, VA 24402

Accepting Applications:

  • The CLA Scholarship program will accept application from interested individuals over the age of 16 that:
  • Qualify after completing an application.

Timeline:

CLA Office will contact you within 5 days after receiving your application to acknowledge that your application has been forwarded to the Scholarship Committee for processing.

The CLA Scholarship Committee will receive your application the next week and make a determination within 21 days. (The Committee may contact you with questions if necessary)
