Blackhartlongarms was formed in 1997, an outgrowth of a long time hobby and part time business. My appreciation for the Longrifle is tied to the Parry ancestry in the 18th century Montgomery and Bucks county Pennsylvania. Decades of living in New England has engendered an appreciation of the New England Fowler tradition.
I hand craft each piece using traditional methods and tools to the owner's unique desires; typically ten to twelve pieces a year.
